Ben Watson is a tighthead prop for the Royal Navy and the UK Armed Forces Men’s XV, and one of UKAF’s most-capped players with 12 appearances. A Leading Airman (Aircraft Handler) who has played his club rugby for Camborne, he was named Player of the Match in the Royal Navy’s 47-16 Inter Service win over the RAF at Franklin’s Gardens in April 2026.
Watson played in all five matches at the 2023 International Defence Rugby Competition in France as UKAF won bronze, and has started against Poland in Gdynia, against Germany in the 2024 and 2025 Remembrance Games at Kingsholm, and at Military vs Cancer 2026 at Castle Park, Doncaster.
