First Capped:2015

Dave Manning is a prop for the Royal Air Force and the UK Armed Forces Men’s XV, serving as a Sergeant. He is one of UKAF’s most capped players, with 16 appearances from 2015 to the 2024 Remembrance Game against Germany.

Manning played in all three matches at the 2019 International Defence Rugby Competition in Japan as UKAF reached the final against Fiji, setting up a semi-final try against France with a grubber kick the report called “exquisite” for a prop. Four years later he captained UKAF at IDRC 2023 in France, leading the side to bronze with a 24-12 win over New Zealand.

He has since stepped back from playing to become a rugby development officer for RAF Rugby, and was UKAF forwards coach for the 2025 Remembrance Game against Germany.
